Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC)

Private Practice in the office of Walter Camos, MS, LPC, NBCCH

I welcome the opportunity to meet and work with individuals and families in need of a little assistance or direction. Born and raised in South Louisiana, I earned my doctorate in Counseling Psychology (2014), and am registered with the Louisiana Licensed Professional Counselor’s Board of Examiners. Over the last 5 years I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families; and have experience with behavioral disorders, depression, anxiety, parenting skills and coping skills.

I approach counseling from a cognitive-behavioral perspective, where patterns of thoughts and actions are explored to better understand presenting problems and develop solutions.  I strive to foster growth through a strong therapeutic relationship; which will be an enriching environment that provides acceptance, warmth, empathy, trust, and mutual respect. Through a collaborative effort, we will outline presenting problems and facilitate cognitive, emotional and personal fulfillment.
